My girlfriend Diane from Oregon  is back on Long Island because her mom passed away.  Whenever Diane is back on the Island we HAVE to go to Southside Fish and Clam on Montauk Highway in Lindenhurst.  That happened last night.  We started with a dozen clams on the half shell.  They were so fresh and delicious.  For our main dish we had their twin Lobster dinners with creamed spinach.  We like the lobsters broiled.    The lobsters were cooked to perfection, and the creamed spinach was excellent.  Of course we had to have some white wine to go along with the dinner.  Having dinner at our favorite haunt was just what the doctor ordered.
