Today is one of those rare days when I am home alone. Gina is working a double shift and Xan is at her Grandma Lucy’s for the weekend. I don’t expect any of the other grandchildren today so I took the opportunity to make my favorite quick bread ….. Cherry Almond. I love Bing Cherries when they are in season, and I do tend to overbuy just so I can pit them and freeze them. As you might have guessed, I freeze almost everything for a “rainy day”.
