Hello everyone,

Grammie took a hiatus during the political heyday.  Since this site is meant to be a fun, informative site I did not want to have any political comments.  Now that most of the hullabaloo is over, I am back.  It has been a quite fall and winter here on Long Island.  We only had one snow storm to talk about and that snow quickly melted.  I am making a new afghan for a friend and will post a picture shortly.  The afghan is, of course Granny Squares with a peach center surrounded by grey, forest green and white.  The boarder is white and peach.  I am working on the peach rows now.

We are trying out a lot of new, low cholesterol recipes and some of them are winners.  I will post pictures and recipes as well.  I promise.  For now let me say a heart felt Thank You to all of you are loyal followers of this website.  See you soon.
